Eligibility Requirements
I AM Survivor Center is a structured transitional living program designed to support women and children who are rebuilding their lives after domestic violence. Our goal is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment that promotes healing, accountability, and long-term independence. To ensure the safety and success of all residents, the following eligibility guidelines are used when reviewing referrals and applications.
Individuals Who May Be Eligible

Women (with or without children) who are transitioning from domestic violence, abuse, or unsafe living environments

Must be 18 years of age or older

Willingness to participate in a structured program focused on personal growth, healing, and stability

Ability to live in a shared, communal environment while respecting others

Must demonstrate a commitment to accountability and following house guidelines

No active violent behavior that could pose a risk to others in the home

Willingness to work toward personal goals such as employment, education, or overall life stability

Must complete the intake and screening process prior to acceptance

We understand that every woman’s journey is unique. Meeting these requirements does not guarantee
placement, as all applications are carefully reviewed to ensure the best fit for both the applicant and the
program.
